People will quit being anti-military the minute we stop having one. The freedom we enjoy in the USA isn't now nor was it ever free. Many people, have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice their lives so that others can be free. Love it or leave it! Amen!

First, don't assume I'm from the same country as you. Secondly, my country was also built on blood, but just because something has happened it doesn't make it right. That's some of the worst logic ever.

I've always been anti-military. It's a waste of tax payers money and war is a waste of energy. The military indoctrinates it's members, forces conformity, and it's sole purpose is to kill people. That just seems like a pathetic waste of time to me. I think anyone who deliberately joins the military is a lazy idiot. Why not learn to make your own way and think for yourself, rather than have someone else make all the decisions for you and provide you with food, shelter and money. It's a daft, pointless institution that seems to exist only to self-perpetuate.

By the way, I'm English. Don't assume I'm a Muslim either. My family is Catholic. You want a country built on 1500 years of blood, war aggression, England beats everywhere else hands down. Does that make it right? No. I find my counrties history pretty disgusting.

No one is anti-military, but 70% of Americans are anti-Bush Administration...

It is true that we are a violent society but that does not mean that we cannot evolve into something more.

We do have freedom of speech, at least at the moment, but the GOP has been eroding our freedoms especially since Bush took office. Have you chosen to ignore that the GOP is using wire taps, phone records and the internet as well as satellites to spy on the American people?

Three cheers! I believe that people that are anti-war feel it necessary to become anti-military forgetting that the military is controlled by a civilian government. It has also become the fashion of the intelligent elite and snobists. I also believe that the majority of the US bashers would be the very last in line to defend the freedoms that allows them to bash.

Those who are against military are negligible. It is most important institution in a country and having high standard of patriotism. People may be against the use of force by politician.

Not everyone's anit-military. Some people just can't understand why they're still over in Iraq. I for one don't hate them, I just hate the situation they're in.

It's not everyone.

It's just the professional blabbermouths on TV, and the trolls who parrot them.
