If I get mine in the wrong way they feel a little scratchy and they move around when I blink.
I put them on my finger and if the edge curves in putthat side to your eye. If it looks like the edge is curved out or down that is the wrong sode.
It will take some time to get used to looking at them to tell which is right.
It took me a month or so to learn which side but now I can tell.
I can feel it if I get them in worng. They just will not seat right on the eye. I just pull it out and flip it. It will not hurt anything.

Trust me, you will definitely know if you put it in the wrong way!! It hurts very badly. When you look very closely at the lens, it should curve upward like a bowl at the top. If the edges stick out, then it is wrong. Try flipping it back and forth on your finger to see the difference. Just be sure to keep it very moist while you are doing this so you don't tear it.

Do you mean inside out? It doesn't matter which end is up in contacts, but if you put it on inside out, you'll probably have itchy eye. I don't know if there are then oxygenation issues or not or anything that could hurt the eye, but I do know that mine itch like he(( when they are inside out.
If you are having probs telling how to put them in, ask for a follow-up visit with someone in your eye office so that they can give you more detail. I was told that when they are inside out, they will look like a tennis ball cut in half and turned inside out - there is a flattening out of the edge. When they are correct, they are a semi-sphere - no ridge or flattening out of the edge.

I too am a long time contact wearer, first when you put your contact on your finger tip look at all the edges, it whould look like a bowl. But if you by mistake put it in wrong you will know it. I will not feel right and sometimes will fold on ya ! good luck it just takes time.

Well first of all your contact lense it supposed to look like a bowl. And if you look into the light with your contact lense. If you see a 123 it is the wrong way. because the 123 should be on the outside of your lense. ALso it will hurt if you put your contact lense in the wrong way.

you need to put you contact on your finger and hold it at eye level when you look at it like this the edges SHOULD be sraight up or inwards. if the edges curve out it is inside out you need to flip it over. try flipping them back and forth so you can see the difference. if you put you contact in and it feels like it is rubbing your eye it is probably the wrong way it should be comfortable if it is the reight way!
