Last night I crashed my bike into the sidewalk, and I sort of landed on my elbow, and when it hit the sidewalk, I heard a crunching sound. It hurts to move my arm from the elbow down, including my fingers. I didn't go to the hospital yet, because I didn't want to wait 3 hours for nothing, but I was wondering does it sound like it something could be broken, and if it is, will they put a cast on or what? Thanks in advance!

As long as I don't move my arm, the pain is bearable. If I move it, it hurts really bad.

Sounds fairly painful. I would recommend that you go get that checked out. Something must be wrong for your arm to hurt like that!

I would go to the Dr. If you dont, and it is broken, it could heal all wrong and you could lose functioning of the whole arm. And to have that repaired will be a lot more painful and take a lot more time to heal. No to mention a lot more expensive, due to the possible surgery to repair it properly. So go to the doctor today.

Ow! Yes, it sounds very much like something is broken. You'll probably be given a cast and a sling: That's what was done for a lady I went roller-skating with some years ago when she fell.

It could be worse than you think.

I crashed a bike once and didnt want to go the doctor either.

Turns out I had internal bleeding in my thigh and lost some use of my leg for a year due to nerve damage.

go to the Dr TODAY

I would say go to the hospital its better to be safe than sorry. It could just be that you bruised the bone and that is causing the soreness, but it could be that you broke something its really something you should get checked.

I really hope you're planning a trip to the hospital today. Even if it's not broken, you may have torn some ligaments or severely strained the muscles. Please see a doctor and get a professional evaluation of your arm.

You should definitely get it checked out if your having problems moving. I'm sure they would put some type of brace or cast on if your really injured.

You shattered your cartlige. It may require surgery. Go to the doctor and do not do this again. You are on restriction from your bike. It goes for sale on E-Bay tomorrow.
