My Q received many answers--31 in total making my job of picking the best answer a happy but difficult one.
I noticed many answers focused on the answerer's own religion affirming religious tolerance while sometimes accusing other religions of being intolerant or sometimes simply ignoring the mention of other religions in the answer.
There seems to be a consensus that eastern religions exemplify best tolerance toward other religions.
I myself see that the nature of western monotheistic religions and their teachings make it logically difficult to be tolerant of all other religions but their own --ie. monotheistic, polytheistic, paganistic, nontheistic,& atheistic religions.
Nobody mentioned the religious-independents- the agnostics, who, because they have doubts & are undecided about many crucial beliefs of the religions of the world
( which they see are heavily influenced by the history & culture of the religious believers), may well be considered the most faith-tolerant.

Most religions do teach tolerance, the real question is how many ppl actualy abide by that. And the answer to that question is very few. Very few ppl on these "boards" are tolerant of others, reguardless of there religion. In fact, many of the ppl on here actualy show there religion in a bad light. Not all christians are bible thumping, intolerant jerks. Though it would be hard to tell that sometimes.
But religion in general often causes conflict. Many ppl find it hard to believe that others could believe differently then they do. And when pushed into a corner, rather then be calm and rational, and use simple facts, they get mean and nasty and just come out "swinging".

I know for suer that Islam does coz it the Quran it says that all Jewish, Cristians and muslims are from teh same abrahamic believe so it does not say that they are wrong to be Jewish or Christians.
I also read on Buddhism, hinduism and shinto. they never talk about other religions at all but thats because they existed way before the 3 main religions. So the latest would be Islam and thats the only one I can reference to coz even the Tora and the Bible was out before the Quran.
Hope this helps. Its a lot of work to really find this answer. Trust me this was my reasearch once.

Actions speak louder than words...? Then it's gotta be Judaism. They have been persecuted by Muslims and Christians for 2000 years. This time they won't go quietly.
Jews worship God and keep His commandments without stepping on anyone's toes. They don't expect anyone else to follow any laws other than the Noahide laws.
They are more than willing to co-exist and cooperate with other religions, and have been major shapers of the law in many countries.
Converts are welcome into all Jewish "denominations" if they are truly serious about the commitment to follow the laws of the Torah, and are willing to be circumcised as a symbol of the Jewish covenant with God.

Heeltap,
You are wasting your time looking. Religions are created by men, and I am highly suspicious of their motives, since most religious leaders, seem far from the heart of God. When Jesus walked the earth, there was only one group of people He singled out and attacked. Religious hypocrites. I don't know if I would have the cojones to speak out to them as harshly as He did. Jesus himself, however, freely invited all mankind to enter the Kingdom of God. He also taught that the Kingdom of God is within you. Unless He was a liar, that means that the only place you are going to find God, is in your own heart, not in some building with a cross or a crescent on it. If you want to be with Him, you only have to invite Him in, and give Him complete authority over your heart and mind. His Spirit will then bond with you, and you will be on the path of a spiritual rebirth. I have done it, and have entered into the peace and spiritual rest I was looking for. I also don't look at people of other beliefs the same way anymore. I now know that God places extreme value on all of His potential children, and doesn't want any of them to perish.

Hinduism, Shinto... Mostly Asian religions. It could be because they comprise originally of many Gods, and hence having a few more isn't a matter of trouble for them.
Buddhism and Zen fit better under Spiritualism. They does not necessarily have a God.
Confucianism is a philosophy.
Get your religions right, people.

Christian, Christian, and oh yeah...Christian!!! And guess what, it doesn't matter if you believe me or not. I wish you would believe me, because God is right and you are wrong. But, just because you don't believe something doesn't make it false. If I say I don't believe in gravity and then I jump off a bridge...guess what? Yeah, you guessed it. Just ask yourself this question...how many people that answered this question, actually has studied, researched, or knows anything about the religions they have mentioned? That's what I thought.

I think that ALL religions teach tolerance of others. It's the followers that choose not to do so. For example, Islam teaches that all religions are correct. But, as we all know, there are radicals that believe and act otherwise.
