I once had pineapple slices that had jello mix soaked into them. I think it was raspberry. They were really good but I can't find a recipe of how they were made and was wondering if anyone knows what it was.

I have always been told not to add any type of pineapple to jello.
Just try laying out your pineapple, then sprinkle the jello on top,
rub it in.
Good luck

This is what I have made several times - it's a beautiful presentation and tastes great - really.
Cut a fresh pineapple, including the green top into four equal pieces - so each long boat of pineapple has a green top. Remove the skinny hard core with one long thin slice and discard. Carefully run sharp knife down the pineapple from green top to bottom and remove most of the fleshy yellow part and place it on a work surface, like a platter, a rimmed cookie sheet, something like that. Then cut from top to bottom all the way through and also cut into horizontal little individual slices. Do this for each of the 4 boats you are making. Sprinkle with your choice of dry gelatin - can make it 4 different colors like I did for a recent birthday party or just use raspberry for great effect. After the gelatin completely soaks the tiny slices (all kept together to look like a boat) very carefully replace the cut up flavored slides into each boat shell and add a few fancy toothpicks, like with an umbrella, or flags or whatever the occasion. It might take a little practice but do each part slowly and carefully and you'll have a perfect pineapple party boat. Good Luck!
