I actually think it depends on how old you are. For example if she is fifteen and he is 25 then there is a large gap. I think the gap is because of maturity level. However, if he is 36 and she is 26, I think it is perfectly ok.

Now this is something I've given a lot of thought (don't ask why).

Firstly, this only applies to ages 17+. Which is in my view the safest age of consent. Anyone below that age should only be with someone within 2 years +/-.

So here's my rule, a person should find 30% of their age and then use that figure as the maximum limit above/below their age. e.g. woman aged 20 (30% = 6) should set 26 as her limit. Of course she couldn't go lower than 17.

There are some other stipulations. If both people are over 35, then they can just about do what they want. At that point I don't think anyone should doubt there judgement of right from wrong. Unless of course the older person is senile.

It depends on your age - if you're 18 dating a 28 year-old then that's not right

I am 32 and my husband is 41 - we are 9 years apart and there's nothing wrong with that.

My step-father is 68 and my mother is 55 - there's 13 years between them.

When I was 16 I dated a guy who was 26 and my mom flipped and after my divorce I dated a guy for awhile who was 43 and that didn't bother anyone, but the 43 year old ended up being married and I said good bye

It would only be wrong if you were so feeble minded and sensitive that your world fell apart every time someone looked at you the wrong way, or sniggered or stuck their nose in the air whenever you were with the person. If it was me and I truly loved the person involved then age height gender physical abnormality and especially other people's reactions wouldn't get a second thought.

My ex husband was 12 years older than me and our marriage lasted 25 years does this answer your question? Age is just a number it's the personality of your partner that counts and most of all it's how he makes you feel that it's the most important aspect.

No, i do not believe that my mom has dated and married a younger man then her like 20 yrs younger lol.
but she is a very beutiful and sexy mom so no if people give u looks or something just ignore them they should just mind there own buisness. Love come from the heart and if you love this person it does not matter or even if you like him alot and you want to get to know him better that is good and it age does not matter. You take care though.
