Buck up and dump him yourself... It will be better for the both of you. Don't let things linger. And if all else fails tell him he doesn't satisfy you any more and that you found someone bigger in the twig's and berries department.

Dump him yourself!!! My ex loooooong ago manipulated me into dumping her. And now I hate her with a furry!!! He will appreciate it in the long run. Its called honesty. Sure he wont like it. But he will move on and so will you. Be strong!

just dump him. its not worth putting the two of you thru the missery of being together out of spite. believe me, i dumped my bf of 5 years and was terrified to do it. but it needed to be done and i knew he wouldnt ever do it. well, he might have if he knew i cheated on him, but why tell him about that part?

Better yet, have a heart. You don't need to "be dumped." simply be unavailable any time he calls or wants to make plans. It is no necessary to explain why you are unavailable.

Hey, I think you should tell him. Its not fair otherwise. Playing games will only make things worse and you will end up having to tell him the truth anyway. I guess you can only hope he meets someone else he prefers - to make it easier on yourself.
