If you're talking about stuff you type into a search engine like Google - all you have to do is access the search history by clicking the search box once, roll your mouse over to the first search result, and hold delete. You can also turn this feature off in the internet options menu under tools.

Control panel, network options, delete cookies, delete files (check the off line content box as well) Then set you clear hist to 0 at the bottom of that screen.
