Why do some girls/women date jerks and then when they break your heart, you complain about it but turn around and data yet another jerk?

We are repeat affendors..... is why... we always go for the jerks... because the Jerks constantly know how to lie, manipulate and coax us in correctly ..... First they act like something they aren't and then after awhile after they know your hooked they let their true selve out,,, Men like woman are no differant in the acting department.. we all do it well.... I have ment my true love however it took awhile, But he is the best and most wonderful guy out there ..... But I ll tell you something there is someone for everyone... we just have to be patient enough to wait for them....
I have seen men Go out with some real bitches the same as woman go out with the jerks.. its a two way street... Men date women like their mothers mostly and woman date men that are like their fathers,,,
Its just something that that person is comfortable with..... I have several people in my life as friends that have such drama in their relationship... both know they should plit from each other but they won't they choose to stay in the drama the fights the beating, the yelling and the kids involved its even worse..... I am telling you people date what they are use to dating becasue they fear anything else and do not know anything else......

No one LOOKS for a jerk. Some women might be attracted to qualities in a guy that make him a jerk. But no matter how much of an a** a guy is, if he decides a woman is worth it, he won't treat her like crap. So those guys these women are meeting just don't appreciate them and how special they are- but thats all part of dating, hit and miss and someday you'll find the right person- because the right guy would always keep trying and never treat you like sh*t

uh just to let you know, they are only jerks to you because this "girl" is not dating you. You are obviously jealous. Then there is of course the real jerks, Girls are not stupid never underestimate them, The guys are usually really nice and sweet and then they kind of become jerks over a period of time. The girls are confused and kind of wondering where the guy she was dating went and if he was going to come back. My advice to you, leave this girl alone she's probably just a friend and she wants it to stay that way. let her date and do everything she needs to do. If you never date a jerk you won't learn how to handle them later.

It's difficult to describe but like guys us women like to obtain the unobtainable. We like the chase like the guys. Another factor is the fact that we like the guys who can protect us from others and will be rude to someone else for us. We don't want our heart broken although most of the time we know that's exactly what is going to happen. It's the thrill that those "jerks" give us when we're with them.
It's kind of like when a guy goes out with a girl who is a B*tch. You know they're wrong for you but you just can't help yourself.

i guess we assume they are only jerks in public to show off for friends or whoever and they will be sweet and loving when we are alone... and sometimes it is like that but other times we figure out that all men are jerks in some ways.. depends on the guy, but we also like the chase and it's hard to catch a jerk...

good question,so many smart women do just that. The answer-those women need to step back and truly look at what and why they continue to be attracted to jerks. possible reasons: low self-esteem, troubled childhood relationship with one or both parents, need to be loved-self-gratification now! or because the guy said "I love you" and the girl or woman fell for it! or they are happy having dysfunctional relationships. Lastly, they have not given one thought about it just keep dating the same unhealthy type of guy

I am a woman and I ask the same question of my friends who do this. The majority tell me "bad boys are just my thing." I tell them that when they let that behavior go by, they are allowing it and giving permission for it to happen yet again. I agree with you. But here's my question: Why do the women who are so terrible to men have no trouble getting them? If you are nice to men, they drop you. It seems that way, anyway.

Women are blinded by attraction. I've dated plenty of jerks myself...never on purpose. I always overlooked their faults thinking it was a normal guy thing...until I met a good one. That's usually all it takes.

Beacuse in the beggining they don't seem like jerks. that like asking why do men date woman who don't want nothing from them but material things and you know that yet you continue to date them and complain about it.

Because we dont know they are jerks when we first meet them we find out once we get to know them very well
