Why do you not want to lose him if he does not care about you? It will just get worse, show him the door and find someone who can see past the end of his nose!! Good luck x

If you can hand on heart say that you dont want to lose him (i cant think why you arent contemplating moving country to be honest!!) then you have to put up and shut up. On the other hand, you could perhaps do with some councilling or something to raise your self esteem. No one on this earth has the right to treat another person like a peice of crap. And no one should sit there and take it either. It can be very difficult to let go, but for your own sake hon, you really should knee him in the nuts, send him packing, spend time on your own to find the real you again, and then when you have discovered who that is, there will be a person out there that treats you with the respect and recognition that you deserve. Kick him in to touch babe.

We should be looking at this from a slightly different angle...... In my opinion you should be doing everything in your power to loose him!He sounds like a right waste of space.
There are lots of fantastic men out there. Ones that will treat you with the respect, care an attention that you deserve. Don't waste your time and energy on him.
Spend time loving and nurturing your self esteem. When you feel great about yourself there is no way that you will let selfish energy drainers into your life.
Make him not want to loose you. Come on you are worth it. Aren't you?? Good luck and be happy!

Ok I have to say I agree with the rest of the answers , get rid of him! .
But if you want to see where his feelings for you are at :
First you need to find why he is acting this way? , does he have a real problem ? is there anything going wrong in his life that you don't know? ask him . If there is not a big problem in his life then my advice would be to test him:
Do your own thing for a few days , go out with other people ,join a new course , live independent of him for a few days or go out together and talk more with other people than to him
His reaction should be to try to keep you closer and be more aware of your whereabouts, this is if he cares for you. If he doesn't react this way it means he is just so full of himself that he doesn't want to make room for anybody else on his life .

He's sounds young and immature, and very self absorbed.... :You can't change him, the only thing you can change is the situation....Turn it around, you start being self absorbed ... he's too sure of you.... Guy's seem to always want what they can't have... so play a little hard to get or I promise you, you will lose him... but you shouldn't even want someone like that...Personally, I want someone that wants to be with me, not someone I have to force to be with me... There is alot of fish in the sea, you be choosier and hold your head high.... If you act like you don't care so much anymore, if he really care's for you, he'll be coming around...... Try it , what do you have to lose....Good Luck.....

Dump the Chump if he's selfish now he will be in the future. There's loads of us guys out there who know how to treat a lady well so get rid and trade up!

hey baby try askin ur self do u need ta keep holdin on to this?? u could go out there and get sum1 that will bother with u sweetie..if he loved u he would be payin more attention to you hunni try sittin him down and talking to him and telling him your feelings talking can help alot good luck ;)
