As a Christian, I do care about a Jewish state. The Jews have been an ostracized, marginalized and silenced for over three, if not more, thousand years. I want that to be changed and give voice and power to the Jewish people. I look at the Jews as my brothers and sisters and I love them as Jesus asked me to do. They are not tools to get Jesus to come back: Not even the angels know when that is going to happen. These people are human beings, and I know a lot of people feel the same way. I hope this helps you. God Bless

Huh?

Need you for when Jesus comes? How so? (Not that I don't hope to see you there. :) But define "need".)

Why should Christians care about a Jewish state? Man, we tried the Crusades already, and we gave up.

OK, poor attempts at humor aside, I think the world would be much better off if the nations of the middle east all gave in a little tiny chunk towards Israel and let them be. But I don't think they ever will. And Israel isn't helping themselves much. Instead of offering peaceful solutions, they're acting like a Chihuahua, yapping away and trying pitifully to be a bully back toward the larger, stronger nations that are their neighbors.

I would rather the world did whatever it took to get gas prices back down.

Actually, your land was given to you in the days of Moses. The Promised Land. Unfortunately, Israel has been a sinful nation and God has punished her----just as he promised he would do.

The land belongs to the 12 Tribes of Israel. But until Israel can turn away from the sins they are commiting, they will never have the full benefit of the Promised Land.

Christians DO care about a Jewish state. It's fulfillment of prophecy. Also, consider one more fact given in the Bible---the New Testament --Revelations---- any country that goes against Israel will be doomed. Read about it.

I'm of a Christian denomination, but met many Jewish people when we lived in New York. Their views on certain things are different (they don't believe in heaven and hell, etc), but many of their prayers are the same, or similiar to, Christian ones. They use the same Old Testament of the Bible that Christians use. They do not use the New Testament because though they believed that Jesus existed as a man, they do not believe that He was the Messiah.

As a born again Christian, I do care about the Jews. Last night I prayed for all the Jewish people in Israel. My heart was prompt to do so. But you know, before last year, before I accepted my Jewish Savior, I didn't care about ANYONE. I'm truely sorry you feel this way.

How can you claim to speak for all Christians? What arrogance. I am a Christian and the state of the Jewish people are one of my most important prayerful concerns. They are God's chosen people and any true christian is concerned with what is going on with them as a nation and as a people.

Christians feel the only way to get life is by accepting Jesus as their savior, yet still accept the fact that Israel is god's chosen people and Jesus will retun via the Promised Land... that is an oxymoron and I never got that either.

since Christians know that Jesus has already come to earth, i guess that means they really care about a jewish state.

Actually I think you're wrong. As a Christian, I believe that Israel should exist and I have the utmost respect for the Jewish people as God's chosen people.

Funny that you admit to Jesus coming and you are still Jewish.
