If atheists are not religious or spiritual, why bother coming here? If you don't really care about such things, why waste your time, and ours? At least Agnostics are looking for the truth. But you? What are you doing here?

I think there are many who claim to be atheist that are nothing more then religious haters and in my opinion are those that feel like Gods laws are too hard for them to live with. The are bored and for excitement they taunt religious people and try to make your question your faith. They claim Christan's try to force their views on them but they place themselves in a religious forum and ask a lot of what if questions trying to get religious response then when they get it they say stop preaching to us we don't care. But it is just a game to them. best way to deal with this is to ignore them they will move on once they find out no one will play their games.

Oh worry not, if its a level of scripture being debated between Christians i'll leave on my own. I gained't butt in with a "God isn't actual!" because that's both rude and non-functional to objective this. As for why i'm the following. there is any style of causes. one in all that's that spirituality (one 0.5 of the section's call) belongs both to all people, and that encompasses the human difficulty also. we ought to continually debate more advantageous than purely the metaphysical international of gods yet to boot what it ability to be human and sentient. i replaced right into a Christian and that i'm nevertheless fascinated in the cultural structure of Christianity and organised faith often. a number of it really is truly morbid interest, rather even as utilized to the extra fundamentalist factors. notwithstanding i'm typically pleasantly shocked with the help of tangible good arguments and viewpoints from operating in the route of Christians that would make most of the silliness the following valuable. i'm also an avid fan of Christian medieval structure and that i'm a usual concentrated visitor to the excellent cathedrals and churches the following in the united kingdom. i do not opt to be non secular to have a good time with the amazing nature of their structure and the artistry and keenness that went into them. even as anybody asks any question the following, they should be a minimum of be prepared to take heed to from viewpoints that are a procedures from their own, in the different case why submit the following? An atheist reaction to a religious question want not be insulting (and may not be if the question is nice) yet that doesn't advise that's going to not be provocative. i want people of all beliefs to imagine for themselves, not purely shop on with the orders of people or any books.

We have a responsibility to challenge the absurdity of religious belief and to work towards a better world by helping to eradicate it. We need to bring reason and enlightenment to a world which is still in many places mired in irrationality and superstition. Above all, we absolutely must continue and build upon the efforts of those courageous atheists in history who suffered persecution, torture and death to bring us the freedoms that most of us take entirely for granted today. We cannot, must not, let the world slip back to the Dark Ages.

Why not? First of all it is a free place for everyone, I hope. Then they have a belief too. Maybe you do not think so but their spirit believes in the non existence of GOD.

Atheists have the right to believe in what they believe in. As long as they dont go out slaughtering mankind and stealing and raping people and forcing their beliefs, they have the right to believe.

Atheism is a religion also, it is one that says there is no God, and that we live by our own rules, not God's.

Religion is any set of guiding principles.

Probably because they are unsure of what they believe in, and they need our opinions and thoughts to help them.

They are so wrapped up in themselves. Without a God, they are their own god. And they love to show off their intelligence (?) and their dark sense of humor. Pitiful. . .
