i meant Boeing 747-400 fresh out from production without any customer modifications, recently got involved in a 747-400 wiring mod and started to wonder wot do all these looms add up to?

A Boeing 747-400 and a 747 Classic are two different aircraft. The "Classic" is the 747-200 and the 400 is the more modern plane with the longer upper deck and the wingtips. I don't know the answer, but I can tell you that the wingtips are 6 foot long, should you be interested!
