There have been numerous ice ages and they will come again. To answer your question, if you take the numbers in the creation account literally, man was created 6000 years ago and the last ice age occurred way before that.

Note: This only applies if you are talking about when the actioni in it happened and not when it was written because it was written by Moses. It had to happend during Genesis. Since Genesis starts with creation of the earth and universe. The ice age could not happen before that. After Genesis, the action in the Bible compared with other archelogical records of the time inidicates that the ice could not have occured from Joseph's death in Egypt (the end of Genesis) to times on. So the answer is not before or after, it's during.
On a side note, it could even be argued that there was no ice-age per se. That the flood (in Genesis) washed and displaced animal remains across the globe making it appear that animals that were used to living in cold areas died in areas that have constantly been warmer.

Good question!!! After, I think. Because there were already humans, more specifically the "aborigines" during ice age. Genesis is the beginning of everything, remember??

If Genesis begins with the words, "In the beginning..." then how could an ice age possibly precede the creation of the universe?

Genesis didn't happen. It's fiction presented as non-fiction.
