What NOT to do if you have a round face is to get a haircut that clings to it, such as a chin-length bob. Try something that is at least to your shoulders and has some body to it...your hairstylist will be able to help you since he or she will be able to see your face :)

I think the best cut is one called "stack", but don't get it too short in the back. Its layerd in the back and cut at an angle toward the chin. This hides those middle age jowls and also trims down the neckline.

you face will look slimmer if you get a layered cut that frames you face and try highlights also

if you get layers that tear inward it will make your cheek bones stand out and your whole face just look slimmer
