The best reason to get married is that you can't wait to spend the rest of your life with someone, and you want to announce it to as many people as you can. Just read the traditional wedding vows and if you actually get excited about the sound of them, even the "for worse" part, then that's a pretty good indication you should get married.

Companionship...Do you know the first marriage ever? Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. God was the one who instituted the marriage arrangement. But why? The animals had partners, but Adam had no helper, or complement. So God created Eve as a complement, or helper for Adam. Marriage is very difficult in this day and age...people just don't want to work hard at anything and that includes marriage. It takes work, compromise, and a unselfish, forgiving person to succeed. But the results of having a companion who makes up for your lack of qualities and needs is priceless.

The opportunities provided to see yourself through someone you love. You don't have to get married because you love someone, it's a choice, a celebration with the rest of the world, a legality (tax, if you fall in love with an immigrant)

The one who instituted marriage what people to marry so that they can procreate.
You can still marry though if you are of marriageable age and feel that you are loved and you also love the person and what to spend your lifetime with him or her.
You might also marry to avoid falling into immorality if you are a christian.
Marry according to the law.

True love. If that exists between the two of you then everything else will fall in place. Many get confused about that. They think if they love the person everything will work out. BIG mistake!!! Only when you and your significant other really and truly without any doubt love each other unconditionally will it work with ease.

Only get married if you have found the person with whom you would like to spend the rest of your life. Good or bad, just like the vows say.
