Actually it was the Romans that did it.

When Jesus died there was no Israel. The Jews did not kill Jesus as they were a subjugated people. The Romans of that time used Crucifixion to kill enemies. Jesus was a Jew. Your entire question predicates belief in a falsehood that has been perpetrated for centuries. To give you some kind of answer, if I were a roman then yes, I would have followed the roman dictates of that time. If I were a Jew back then the answer has to be no as the Jews believed that life is sacred and can only be removed (killed) to save another. Things haven't changed much in Jewish beliefs.

This question has no relivancy.
One could not think like that, since we were born in our time, and given to us wether or not we follow Yeshua.
Logically this question has no relivancy because we did not, and there were some during that time that did not condemn Yeshua, and my friend you cannot acclaim Yeshua's death to one nation or people.
Yeshua gave himself on our behalf.
We are mainly responsible for His death as individuals.

You guys,(shakes head) you sound like anti-semetics.
No one nation or people are to blame, only us as individuals.
You cannot group all of Israel in anyway, even if that were true, which it's not. Yeshua Himself was a Jew. As were His followers.

I don't think you would jump out to take His cross.

The closest ones, the ones He loved and who loved Him,
the ones who spent three years walking with God.
They did not. There is no way I will believe that any one of us would do it. There is just no way. Besides it was much more than the beating, He was Separated from the Father by sin while on the Cross.

Israel did not kill Jesus.

Sin killed the Messiah. Had there been no sin in the world, He would not have died. Jesus said "My life is My own to lay down and pick up."

No single man killed Jesus. He died willingly for us. His death on the cross was just the tool He used to accomplish it.

I believe that I am chosen by God. I believe His purpose for me is to be of help to His -people so I think I would have still supported Jesusand not been one of those who voted for Hiis death and made sure He was killed.
