God gave you the freedom of choice, even though he knows you before you were born and after you have died.
This freedom of choice is not responsible for making you a non-believer of Christ if you were not born into a family of believers.
If you were not born a Christian, this freedom of choice gives you the free will to choose what to believe or practice. If you were born a Christian, you still have freedom of choice to be otherwise.
God does not intervene - live a good, loving life and you'll be ready to meet him one day. Anyway, even with your free will, do you not admit that God had planted a seed of faith in you - which is why you asked this question. They say that the greatest of believers are sometimes the biggest skeptics - that's the price of free will.

As several people have already said, you aren't dead yet...till then, it isn't too late to get a clue. Plus, knowing and condemning are two different things--you want your children to be good people, and you train them as best you may, but only a monster forces his chidren to be what he wants them to be. Same with God!
He gave you all you need to make the right choice, and He's hoping you will. He's also nudging you--witness this question--but in the end, it's up to you. A lot of it's a pride issue--for you that is--and a matter of immaturity. It's so much easier to blame God than to make the choice, thus admitting you're not perfect. This should not be big news to you, if you've been watching. He gave you everything you need to turn out a credit and a joy, but He won't force you--there's your freedom. You have to decide what to do with it. Ever hear about the hand-writing on the wall--the stuff you always hope isn't true?
God hopes, too.

You have a free will to da what you want. Including choosing to accept God as your savior. Now the outcome may be known, he may have seen you disown or deny him till the end. The free will given by God is that he didn't make us slaves to religion. We arent born knowing and believing in God.
But your question is valid. If God knows everything that will occur until the last moments of time then he knowingly let you exhist on this earth for no other reason than to give you life.
Do with it as you will, but remember. If you dont believe in Him, theres no need to ask these questions. And most people that try to deny the presence of God are not denying God but rather themselves because they feel something but dont want to admit to it.

Free will is a bad translation. Will implies that we have some power over God. And we do NOT! Free choice is a better term because we can choose our daily actions unlike the angles who were created to serve without choice. God made you and yes he knows what you will be on your last day of life but you do not know and therefore you have a choice on what you will choose to see and hear ( I should say perceive and understand) For example I could say to you that God is one God! But it is your choice to accept that or not. Did you not think you would be tested? Truth is given to us and we choose to receive it or not. So, NO we do not have free will. YES, we have free choice. God already knows what we choose our whole life long. That does not take away the fact that we choose it, it just means God knows and he was Good enough to prove to us our choice by letting us live it through. So we can not deny it when our life and choices speak for us when we are in front of him on judgment day. Hope this helps.

God doesn't want or need anything from you, you are part of Her already, always at home. Why do you think God is needy or have an agenda? Your free will is experiencing yourself from the choices you make in life. We put value judgement on stuff, good bad, but God see only what is. But of course you are free to go your own way, believe what works for you and do your own thing, just like the rest of us. Good Luck.

First, let it be known that I like to think of life like one of those 'choose your own ending books' that we read as kids. Those ones where they give you a situation and say "If you want to climb the tree, go to page 6. Or, if you want to go into the spooky house, go to page 19."
Okay... so God knows you before you're born, right? I think that when you're born, God knows every choice that you (or those who are in charge of your development in those formative years) will be presented with and every possible outcome of that choice. It's yours to choose... but God knows what will happen no matter what that choice is.
There is only 1 end... death. How you get there and what you believe will happen when you get there is your choice. Be informed....
Free Will does exist, it's just that God knows what will happen once that choice is made and what choices you'll be presented with after making that choice.
Does that make sense?

Doesn't that prove free will. He still placed you on the earth, even when he knew you wouldn't follow him or accept him. If he put only beleivers on the earth, the world would be a much smaller place.
Question: why are you refering to something you don't believe in as if you did?

Knowing and causing are different. God wants ALL to come to Christ and be saved. He knows what we'll do, but that doesn't mean he causes you to make the decisions you do. God loves you enough to allow you to reject the Christ; a loving God could not do otherwise. He easily could have created us all to love him and not have allowed us to sin. It would be like kidnapping - you could make someone be with you, but how much better to have someone love you with her whole heart of her own free will! God allows us to choose, and will not force anyone to spend eternity with a God he's rejected. It's all clearly stated in scripture and I hope you will seek and find the truth. God bless you. ~Nisa

It is a hard concept to understand(im not insulting your intelligence, it is hard for even the strongest believers). He put you on this earth as kind of a blank(this is just how I see it.) You go through life and make the descision to follow him or not. he knows ahead of time what you will decide, but he still gives you a free will.

Free will can be a decision made at the last minute.
Up until your last breath .If you decide to take Jesus into your heart and ask him to forgive you for your sins the last moment of life it will be done.
You do not know what God has in store for you.Your future is always bright as long as you have that last moment.
Thank God
