i have just a basic white colored room. What can i do to cover the holes up left from tacs?

Use spackle and a putty knife. You don't want your walls to smell minty fresh ;o)

hey, when i lived in base housing in the military we would use toothpaste to cover the small holes in the sheetrock.
works great as long as the wall is white or matches your wall color.
my fav was the old colgate in the squeeze tube, seemed to have just the right consistency to bridge those small gaps and dry quickly.
you may need to experiment with diff. brands.

if it is just the little hole from the thumb tack fill it with toothpaste

If you are moving, use toothpaste. If you are going to be there for a while use spackle.
