From some backyard breeder or puppy mill. You sound cheap. That is what you will get too!!! A cheap, poorly bred puppy. Good luck!

why dont you try a Golden Retriever resuce group. google search it. they are wonderful groups that know the temperment of the animal already and would be able to make a perfect match for your home. besides they would already be fixed, shots, and HOUSE TRAINED! and usually for cheaper than 300 dollars.
dont buy from a pet store...those puppies come from puppy mills! click on the link to see what a puppy mill is.

The person accusing you of being cheap is probably a snooty breeder who only contributes to the problem of pet overpopulation. You should really check your local shelter and/or rescue group. No luck, try petfinder.com.

Try your local shelters. About 25% of those dogs are purebred and they are all dying for a home.

just about every state has rescue sites for different breeds. go to Yahoo and look up the closest rescue site for your breed. our dog of 8 yrs died recently and that's what we're going to do when we get ready. PLEASE NO PUPPY MILLS!!
