I do! I'm guilty! I really don't know why I do it and my boyfriend complains all the time.

I feel comfortable enough to do so.

This is nuts! I am a girl and I will never leave the restroom door open. I am guessing that could be a few reasons. 1. Attention 2. Very confident in ones self! (If that is it more power to them). FYI -- girls normally will invite another girl to go to the restroom or leave the door open with other girls while talking, getting ready or what ever. It kind of bonds them. So maybe they feel that there is no threat with you and that they are excepting you in... even in the intimate day to day things. Which ever you think might fit your situation. Meaning... You know the person and the relationship you have. Which reason is it?

Most girls don't , But some girls that lack the maturity of girls in their teens and above have a phobia about enclosed places( like a monster under the bed).. It is an emotional problem with certain girls not a wide spread
problem.. Boys, on the other hand, are always in a hurry to go back to watch the girls that they forget to close the door-- back to the maturity thing........ We were raised on a ranch where there ain't no doors outside,But Mom would kill us (not physically) if we didnot close the door??

The only reason I ever did this was for my cat. And only when my boyfriend and I were the only ones there. My cat was spoiled, and she had separation anxiety because we had moved through a few states. Plus the bathroom was one of those double chamber setups. First door was the sink and vanity, second door was the toilet and shower. It wasn't really easy to see into the bathroom. Otherwise than that, I've never really known a girl to do that.

I think I leave the door open at home because it is just my family there and I am comfortable with them in that way. Not all the time and not for all bathroom visits, but for just a quick pee followed by a thorough washing of the hands!

I dont unless i am trying to invite the guy into the shower with me. So the next time your girl leaves the bathroom door open, ask 'can i join you?' The answer is probably 'yes'.

I know here at work we ladies can keep a conversation going from desk to stall and back again without missing a beat. I leave the door open at home only because I live alone.

well, while I am physically sitting on the toilet or in the shower the door is always closed and locked for that matter.

Now, if I am putting on make up, brushing my hair or teeth or simple primping---then I don't bother to shut the door. The other thing that I don't shut the door to the bathroom for is when I am cleaning the bathroom.

I have a bathroom in my bedroom and I figure if my bedroom door is closed, the bathroom door shouldn't matter much. Also, if you have to go REALLY bad, sometimes it's easier to shut the door after your already sitting (if the bathroom is teeny enough) and if your used to a bathroom that is teeny enough, you might run in to go, and once sitting realize your in a different bathroom that ISN'T teeny enough :(
I must sadly admit, that this has happened to me.
