I'd have to go with cheese... there are very few foods that some cheese (preferably melted) doesn't improve.

Cheese. No, fish! No, Cheese. It depends. What kind of fish, how is it cooked and will it be served with ketchup? And the cheese, is it cheddar or one of those other weird varieties? And will it be on bread or crackers or just by itself? Or is this actually a perverted question disguised as a culinary question?
