The best thing about God is the feeling he provides that there is something larger in this universe than man. Man's life is full of errors and inequities and pain and suffering, and knowing that God has a plan, and all this suffeing isn't in vain, provides confort to those who otherwise would have none.

The idea that you're not going to cease to exist when you die is very comforting to most people.
There's also a large contingency of people who don't like to feel that they are on their own in the world, and take comfort in the idea that God will help them know what to do when the going gets tough.

You know he is there but you wont see him!! You will feel he is not there but actually he will be around! You will think he has not seen your sins but he would have seen the entire sins!
He is like the poem" heard meloedies are sweet but those unheard are sweeter" You have seen a lot of "godmen" but he is the unseen one and that's his beauty!!
