You become overweight by overeating. It's my opinion that a single food isn't going to make one fat. For instance, if you eat one twinke a day for your only source of food, you won't get fat (hypothetically speaking, of course).
You get fat by consuming more calories than you expend. So if you consume 2500 calories a day, but only burn 2000 through exercise / living, you'll gain a pound approximately every week (3500 calories = 1 pound).
To lose weight and see what you are consuming, track your calories and exercises. Use a free website such as http://www.fitday.com to monitor your intake / outtake. It's very handy and I've used it to trim a pound or two off from time to time.

Try kashi cereals. They do not have sugar in them like that cereal you are eating. They are loaded with protein, vitamins and all natural ingredients and if you eat the right portions you will lose weight.. Also, frutis vegetables and lots of water. Cereals loaded with sugar and bad ingredients are not healthy and will not help you lose. Also, excercise and burning more calories then intake is the key,. Good Luck

lol healthly foods, fruits, salads, not anything with low carbs. I've never gone on a diet I know from powerfit.
You wont loose weight eating junk food.

you gain weight by consuming more calories than you burn - it's that simple.
eating one particular food will not cause you to gain weight.
But, if your diet consists of large amounts of sugar, you may be headed for trouble. Diabetes, as well as other health problems, can result from diets high in sugar.
