Why is it that I can wake up and trouble awaits seconds later? I mean a phone call, or the internet, or work. It seems like all one has to do is be consicious and trouble or evil persists. I can do my best and be as good as I can and plan and always something hinders me. I do not want to hear I am not living right, pray enough, or this or that. Explain to me why it happens and no non sense about karma. I have heard the sins of your father and on it goes, why do bad things happen so often to good people who just want to do what's best and life makes them appear as criminals.I know most involves money always, I guess the devil uses it against us without us seeing it coming, or is it God teaching us a lesson as many catholics preach. If so I am beyond teaching and want to graduate. I guess in helping others you loose yourself, maybe that's the answer and reason, good vs evil stuff, God bless!

I will not detail the exact situations, this is a general question and takes some thought. If something happens to you repeatedly over 1/2 a lifetime and you do all you can to prevent it and you get ahead in life 2 steps only to be set back 4. This is not mental or a dependencey it is just always what happens. Put the shrink books away and tell me why? If I did not believe in myself I'd been dead long ago. I have ambition, spirituality and average intelligence and want your opinion. To have a small goal and can't quite reach it is one way of seeing it, it just gets further away after years of a tease..

you know its funny, i often wonder the same exact thing. i didn't have a childhood because i was talking care of my sisters, i was physically abused, had a baby at the age of 16,left my mothers house right after i had her, was working and going to school and trying to take care of my baby the best i could, and now I'm just a single mother just trying to get an education and teach my daughter that life doesn't have to be so bad. show her the wonderful things of life. but her father is a "dead beat dad" and i really don't have any family to turn to. no should have to go through the things this world hands out. my mother shouldn't have any of the things that she does, and yet she always wins things or can find some way to do something that she enjoys. i see people everyday who cheat, lie and steal to get ahead or get what they want and life just hands everything to them. I'm getting so frustrated. I'm going to stop now.

It's called life.
Bad things as well as good things happen to all people all the time.
The thing about being a Christian is we are subject to the ups and downs of life too. Death does not pass us over, bills to be paid, lay offs, children in trouble.
But I would rather be a Christian facing all the above than not having Jesus as my advocate and Saviour.
As far as the sins of the father, that is a generational curse, and we all know Jesus broke all curses at Calvary.
Stop looking at the negative, stop focusing on your "circumstances" and focus on the One that is.

I guess it all depends on what kinds of bad/evil things are happening in your life. We are all affected by our surroundings and live according to how our surroundings dictate we must live. It is not as simple as whether or not you are a good person, or you pray on a daily basis.

I can't imagine that you wake up everyday faced with another troubling situation, that seems excessive. But since you did not elaborate, it is difficult to answer your question without speculating.

I would venture to say that bad things happen pretty often to ALL people. The world is an imperfect place and, as I say often, people suck.

I don't honestly think that bad things happen more often to good people. I think the issue is that those that try to be good expect it of others. Thus the constant violation of that expectation is a constant reminder that bad things are happening. It's hard to be optimistic and expect that human nature is basicly good.

Expecting the worst out of people makes things easier, but much more depressing. You can revise your feelings about human nature, and the nasty and negative things that happen won't bother you so much. Unfortunately this means setting the bar lower for all of humanity, which genuinely benefits from those of us that expect the best from folks.

Teachers know that if you expect less, you're guaranteed to get it. Parents know that if you allow your children to behave badly, they will. As spiritual beings, we need to expect goodness from folks to give them the opportunity to rise to the challenge.

Bad things happening to good people is Karma - I quite don't understand what your question is or what you are trying to get out of it.

But what you means is that you sense something before it happens - that is because your energy communicating with the other energy sources around you (without your knowledge)

The rest of it - I do not understand what you really mean.

God also takes exam of the good people that whether they are actually devoted to god or they pretend to.God make people interested in the matters of the world,so that they may not approach him for finding their final abode,ie the house of god.
God wants that people should be interested in the daily chores of life.and should not come to him.

If you are open to learn and deal with your difficulties they translate as opportunities for you to evolve.
No problems to solve, no fun, no evolution.
