Are you asking about chop beef or chip beef?
Chop beef (Hambuger meat) is versitile you can make pretty much anything with it.
Chip beef on the other hand is a smoked beef thin sliced. Heat some 1 cup of milk til just warm, add the beef slices, add a 1/4 cup or more of wondra sifted flour, keep sturring or the milk & flour will burn at the bottom of the pot, cook til desired consistency add salt pepper to taste and serve over toast. YUMMY

You can use it a million ways (hamburgers, meatballs, meatloaf, casseroles, etc.) but make sure it's cooked through. When butchers "chop" the meat, they run it through a grinder. Since there's a lot of surface area in a pound of ground/chopped beef, there's a greater chance of bacteria attacking the meat...which is why you don't want to take a chance of not cooking it all the way.
Season to taste and enjoy! Good luck!

Usually what I do is make a roast or a brisket and then make chopped beef with the leftovers. Chopped beef has to be SUPER tender to be good. Anyways, once you have your roast or brisket chopped up, just add some BBQ sauce, heat and you will have some really great chopped beef sandwiches.

Sautéeing it in a pan with some of your favourite spices and some extra virgin olive oil, is always good. Stewing it in a crock pot is great too. Just add beef, one package of onion soup mix, a dash of white wine, some onions, carrots, and celery, cover with water, and let it simmer away all day long. The meat will be melt in your mouth. Serve that with some garlic mashed potatoes. DELICIOUS!
