Christians put barricades in front of anything that is positive and good...like sex.
If it is something to do with war or hatred then go for it.

What an absolutely stupid idea dont you think? Sex is normal.

It says in the New Testament: If you can not contain do your will then marry. I am a Christian and had sex with my husband before marriage. We have been married a couple of years one might say. This does not lessen ones belief in the Lord. It shows you are human and the Lord surely knows this. Don't just sleep around with everyone because that is simply wrong. Oh and this has to be a mutual thing. Make certain this is the person you really want to marry. Sorry not a male but answered anyway. Remember the fruits of intercourse are babies. Are you ready for this, is the question? Adultery is when you have sexual intercourse with another married person, fornication is when you sleep with a dozen different single people. As soon as you have sexual relations with your girl you are considered married in the sight of God.

I personally think that beyond religious beliefs, waiting is a good idea. I often wish I had waited, at least untill I was older, and or in a commited relationship.

Now i'm a woman, so I can't speak from the male point of view. But as a woman, I can tell you it is no easier for most woman to wait. It is obviously possible though. You just have to try and serperate your "lust" from your need to be close to the person. And you need to keep convincing yourself that waiting will be worthwhile.

As a Christian woman who was not always a Christian, I understand now why we should have purity before marriage. In giving yourself to someone, you have given a precious part. The desires and yearnings that sex evokes should be for the marriage bed, partner.

Marriage-link is based on love and sex is secondary to it.Sexual relations before marriage can be due to lust only or due to ignorance of some kind.So I think Chastity must be maintained as a future gift of marriage.

I have discovered, being a former christian, that chastity is stupid. It places unneeded stress on a relationship. If you're rational about it and comfortable enough to discuss it and be safe, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with sex before marriage. The people who wrote the bible were incredibly sexist (and apparently prude), so they are the last people from which I would glean life's instructions.

Sex is definately normal for animals and, as most girls observe, men are a lot like the Apes of Darwin!

Perhaps we should make it a tradition for women to hang pictures of all the men who had her prior to marriage so that the husband has to look at them every day of his life.

See, here's all the guys whos wangs were in me before yours!

Yes.

And, of course, your 13 year old daughter deserves a good wang in her too!

Yes!

We are animals, aren't we! We are Monkey's nephews!

And, of course, we turn girls (and girls turn guys) down when their bodies are unacceptable after getting their first look!

Wow, what a shallow, animalistic race we are!

Of course, I talked with someone recently who got Herpes from her partner who claimed they didn't know!

Now we also have gonoreah that is resistant to all medications.

There is AIDS and women, currently and getting it faster than men and Gays aren't getting it much anymore because they smartened up!

Remember, herpes comes from the thighs. Just cuddling in swim suits can pass it.

Herpes is incurable at the current time.

Maybe girls should be required to list the total volume of semen they've taken internally prior to marriage and the husbands need to see this figure on the wall every day, along with those pictures.

And, of course, girls and guys do have their comparison lists of who screws good and who doesn't.

Maybe that rating system should also be on the wall for all to see. Done with a lie detector of course, can't have them faking it!

The average man in the world has 12 sex partners and the average woman 10.

That's a lot of use cars out there!

Yep, you're wife or husband's really been around the block, sometimes more than once!

I'm not religious, but spiritual. I was all for it when I was younger, but I have been with my boyfriend for 6 years, he is my second sexual partner and we plan to marry. We have always been faithful to one another. In this type of situation, I think there is nothing wrong with sex before marriage.

faith has some thing to do with it, if only because they perpetuate that arbitrary popular. And, I agree, there are human beings on each and each and every aspect of the non secular fence who both abstain or no longer. in spite of the indisputable fact that, non secular those who do abstain have a tendency to finish that because someone spoon-fed that concept to them. and non secular those who do not likely experience some guilt for going adverse to their spoon-feeding. they frequently can't even allow you to understand what's sweet and undesirable about having sex before marriage with out resorting to "God stated so" as a default. Atheists, on the different hand, have a tendency to completely imagine about the experts and cons of doing some thing. positive, many nevertheless succumb to the interest of the prompt. in spite of the indisputable fact that, they're nevertheless better used to determining their causes for what they ought to do or no longer do.

Erm...difficult to answer. ^_^

Although I'm curious about the answerer who deemed us all hypocrites. Is it not possible to believe the goodness of something very highly moral and upstanding, but have the weakness of spirit to fail in it yourself?

And I will be one to admit, the waiting gets very tedious, VERY difficult. And many, many people do succumb. Though I wonder if that really makes us a bad person, or merely another stumbling block that we must overcome, like all our sins and weaknesses.
