I was at the fight in Boston and spoke to Hattons trainer Billy Graham after the fight and he said there is no way that Hatton will fight at Welterweight again and he would be dropping back down to get his belts back. I mentioned Mayweather to him and he said that it wont happen. I suppose though at the end of the day its up to Ricky as to whether he wants to be remembered as a legend and as the man who kicked Mayweathers backside. My personal opinion is drop back down and go for Cotto or Gatti although it would definitely be a great fight.

This is not a good style matchup. Mayweathers quick fisted, pop shot style will eat up Hattons straight up, walking forward, pressure style. Mayweather would put Hatton away, maybe even in the first half of the fight. It would be smart for Hatton to stay away from Mayweather.

I doubt that will happend. And about Floyd avoiding him.. i doubt that Hatton has a fight schedule already and if anything Hatton is avoiding Collazo he deserved a rematch. Anyways Floyd will outbox hatton the whole night. If Collazo gave him trouble i see Floyd KO Hatton in the 11 or 10. Floyd has bigger things to do like he has in mind fighting Spinks and becoming the first EVER 5 weight division champ! (not 7 like mentioned above)

I agree with my colleague who said never. Ricky fought Luiz Collazo and struggled against a man one weight class heavier. Collazo is a good fighter and it was Hatton's first fight at that weight. I think that Floyd Mayweather has 4 more fights in him before he retires. Cotto,DelaHoya,Winky and Jermain Taylor would be his final fights to being a legend.

probably not for another 2 years maybe three, by the look of it Floyd is moving up in class, he has said he wants to be champ in 7 different weight classes so odds are he is moving up and i don't Hatton moving up more than one weight class. the answer to your question might be "never"
