i know that im not a loner in this subject... but maybe a little imput on recovering mutilaters would be nice. ive been workin really hard, but since tryin to stop cutting, ive been punching myself... i dont know anymore...

Usually there is a psychological factor behind these manifestations. There must be something in your past that has left big scars. You should see a doctor. Good luck

Your not alone in trying to recover without the MD controllers. Cutting is from early abuse and you have to love the family you want to hate. Depression is from being totally shut out . Both are dysfunctions. You need to learn about the main force of social life. It's called the secret group of winners; the circle of friends. When depression is all about family and friends its hard to know where to turn. Others like you is the Best place to start for friends till you learn the second vocabulary and hand communications. Then you have to learn how the body aura makes your emotions and then change your aura. The standard ways are well known but aura manipulation is kept a secret as well as manual and mechanical aura control. Use metal strips on the skin to disrupt the flow of radio signal and make new radio patterns so that the emotions are less severe. Well that's all for now. Cheers and never say ship.

It's hard to answer your question. What is seems may have happened is you have converted one bad habit to another bad habit.You have to find a good productive outlet for yourself. Talking to someone helps. There are a lot of times where I feel that I don't know anymore either. I used to cut, it was my way to vent, to basically let my anger out. Its been probably 2 years and have only cut once in a great while. Try doing something else, writing your feelings down, taking your dog for a walk, running.. anything else that will keep your mind off of it. If you ever need to talk Im here. Hope this helps.

The same thing happened to me! I tried to quit cold turkey. But I guess all I have done is turn in my razor for my fist... I punch my arms or legs, it hurts more than my hips or thighs. But my advice to you is, if your planning on quitting cold turkey, it'll only make things worse. Take it slow. Try to stop a little at a time. Draw, write, carve something in a peice of wood, Talk to a friend to get your mind of things. Lose yourself in the music. Your strong enough and you can quit. you are definitly not alone. i would love to hear input from someone who's recovered as well. i also can't imagine getting any better w/o professional help. i'm in therapy and on a medication and possibly might have to be put on another. but i'm out of control and know it. i would suggest you consider some help. i just read a really good book, i read it twice in a week, it's called Bloodletting, by Victoria Leatham. i got it off of www.bn.com i've read other books on the topic but it's her story and i really liked it. best of luck to you. i think this habit has got to be one of the most addicting and most days i just don't know what to do w/myself.

i am a recovering cutter i still slip sometimes but what ive tried is to do something else that dont involve hurting yourself like next time you want to cut or punch write a poem or scream just try to find right ways to vent anger not destructive ways that scar you and make you feel pain.i hope this hlps you.

You need to go in and get psychiatric treatment. There are drugs to assist you in the urges. Drug therapy for this disease has come a long long way.

I DID TO AT ONE POINT SUGAR I KNOW CAN RELATE TO YOUR INNER PAIN.. I WANTED SOMEONE TO KNOW I WAS ALIVE ANDI HAD FEELINGS. TEH ABUSE I WENT THROUGH AS A CHILD WAS HORRIBLE TO THE POINT I TRIED TO KILL MYSELF SEVERAL TIMES.

I STOPPED HURTING ME TO FEEL LIKE IWAS ALIVE AND I STARTED SAYING WHAT I HAD TO SAY TO THOSE WHO WERE HURTING ME

I MAY HAVE BEEN A COWARD TO THEM TO TELL ALL THE TIME, LIKE THE POLICE,TEACHERS, PARENTS I TOLD WHO EVER I COULD SO IT COULD STOP

AND THEN I WORRIED ABOUT MYSELF AND WHAT WOUDLD MAKE ME HAPPY AND KEEP ME SAFE. SOMETIMES ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS FIGHT BACK TO REGAIN OUR LIVES.
