Depends on the culture and the maturity of the person. If I had to pick a magic number I'd say 28.

Well pretty much every state in the us requires you to be at least 18.Though I think some states you can get married as young as 16 with parental consent.

If your asking what is the acceptable age for woman to marry, it really depends on the girl. In general I would suggest waiting untill your at least 20, but I have a friend that got married when she was 17, and has been happily married for the past 6, almost 7 years. I guess it just depends if you really love the guy, and want to spend the rest of your life with him.

At an age she is physically, emotionally, intellectually & spiritually mature enough to make the choice to do so. It is a life long commitment. One must be ready to give their word in front of God. A persons word, is the seal of the commitment. A persons word is only as good as his character. Finally the following components are expected for a Christian marriage.
Keep God FIRST!

Pray Together!

Respect and honor each other!

Encourage each other to grow together!

Read the Bible together as much as possible!

Be swift to hear & slow to speak!
Make time to communicate with each other!
Protect and honor your marriage vows!
Do not let others come between your marriage!
Have a "Mission Statement" for your Marriage & Family!
Thank God everyday for your Mate & the Life you have together!
Understand that "love" is a choice, not a feeling!(You must choose everyday to Love your mate)

For her own sake, a woman should wait till she has an education and means to provide for herself. It would be good if she also has some life experiences, has dated some, has lived alone, traveled some. I'd say late twenties, early thirties, but then she should not wait long if she wants children. Doctors have misguided women. It is really much harder to get pregnant past 35.

Blend your career development, home building plans and marriage at the same time. If you seek college, try to finish that first. If you plan for children, be patient and find the right father.

For some, it's 19. For others, it's 22 to 24.

When she is mature enough to understand that love includes putting up with her mate at his worst...when he's sick, when he's grumpy, when he's lazy, etc. Some women will never be "old enough".

It's the same for men, by the way.

True love is learning to see through one another, and still enjoy the view.

Enough of an adult to raise children. Children raising children is a bad mix.

You can't effectivly raise kids if you are still unsure yourself what it's all about.

My last child was born when I was 43. He actually had two available parents most of the time.

You can't help kids with the issues that come up in their lives if your unsure how to deal with your own.

Curious you mentioned Women, not girls.

Maturity decides. Not age.

People may never be mature enough to handle marriage.
Look at the divorce stats.
Age and experience are better teachers than youth and exuberance.
