I don't know when, but all the things prophesied in the Bible are coming to pass, so the end is closer than it was. There's no need to guess when, we were told no one knows the hour or the day. i do believe it won't be long.

When you put it into prespective that this question has been asked for centuries and that the second coming of Jesus has been said to be coming soon then yes soon is only a matter of years or seconds. What we may consider to be hundreds of years will happen in the blink of an eye for God in a matter of seconds.

But if you read the book of Revelations it clearly states how long it will take exactly for the world to come to and end. It won't be a quick process. First Jesus will come back down and raise the dead and take his church with him. Then a series of events will occur during a span of seven years. 3 1/2 years of good in which the good Lord, despite of our behavior and how we've treated Him, gives us one final chance to repent and 3 1/2 years of destruction and evil in which the world will ultimately come to and end.

So i guess what im saying is that yes Jesus may come soon but we also have to take into consideration the time that the Revelation takes to complete the Prophecy. ;) read the Bible..will help alot in answering this question and remove many doubts...truth is no one knows when this will start to happen but once it does it will be a matter of years before it happens..the world won't be destroyed completely at once if thats what you're fearing...it will be a long painful process

It all depends upon whether you mean "soon" according to our finite human standards or by God's standards.

I believe we are closer every day to the returning of Jesus, and then life as this world knows it will end. Look at what's happening in the Middle East. Prophecies in the Bible are being fulfilled all the time.

It is just as possible NOW as it was since the beginning of time. People of every single generation have asked this question "is it going to be soon?"
Who knows? We are not supposed to know. I would do anything if I could go back in time and if Yahoo QA was invented (however there weren't even typewriters back that far).....but IF IT DID EXIST and you could review the questions -- this same question would be there.

I belive that indeed the universe will come to an end. The deeds of mankind have grown far to horrid for the universe to continue. Soon jesus shall come again and with him brining peace.

There are some days I wish it would, but no....and depends on what you mean by pretty soon. Eventually I believe all will disappear..but we are not going to see it, or our great grandchildren.
