They want to know what the woman will look like without makeup, becuase that is what they will wake up to, and don;t want to get frightened out of their minds. Make up can totally hide real looks. Fine for competitive dating, but if the attraction is compromised, the relationship could falther. Makeup is a mask to hide the truth.

Because they DO look better without makeup. I like a natural look most of the time, but the ad agencies and makeup companies have you all brainwashed. I went camping in the mountains one time, and my gf INSISTED on carrying her makeup kit 6 miles up the trail. INSANE!

Most girls have a natural beautiful look to them. these girls do not need makeup. Any way some use way to much.

Maybe some guys can appreciate a woman who has an all natural beauty and some women go over board with the make up. They look like clowns or porcelain dolls, all fake.

Men like the natural look, so the key is to wear makeup but not look like you are wearing it. That means wear it very lightly. He'll think you aren't wearing any and that you look great "au naturalle". Men are stupid about that kind of thing. Too much is a lot worse than too little.

May be because they see the inner beauty and truly care for the woman and dont want to change her. They like her for her natural beauty not the fake person behind the makeup.

I think alot of alot of girls use to much foundation and it looks cakey, or the shade is too dark and then there is that line on the jaw bone... I found if you just a bit of concealer for under eyes and blemishes, and a light loose powder on top, and use bronzer instead of the heavy foundation it looks more natural... and I don't think they want to go out w/ woman who look like clowns with crazy colors on their eyes and bright red lips. They like the natural look, but certainly that can be "enhanced" w/ cosmetics...

Makeup makes girls look older, more like a lady. Its the girl they want not the lady.
