they say that guys who are preppy and style their hair and always smell good are either Metro or Gay.. i mean i dont think im metro i excercise work out trying to keep my 8 pack and i play lots of sports.

Most females say that because they are jealous of what you have. They want to look as good as you. I on the other hand could care less if you were metro, Gay, or Straight if you have no interest in me.

they are insecure with themselves and think other wise. like if a guy has a preppy style, does their hair and smells good constantly, they are either stuck on themselves, gay, or their mom taught them how to look good all over and to take care of themselves. personally, it cuz of their mom. it may be habit for them also. I don't think guys are either metro or gay. they just have self respect.

It's cultural. In some contexts people thing that type of a look is typical of gay men. People like to base their judgements on stereotypes and generalize. But that doesn't mean that these opinions reflect the perception of everybody.
It's great that you are taking care of yourself. That's likely to be an appealing quality to a girl/woman.

You say that you don't think you are Metro - so does that mean that you are gay? When you figure out who YOU are, and are comfortable with that - then who gives a flying f**k what 'ALL women say'. You should only care what YOU say, and then everything else is just fluff!

I guess you got the wrong definition of "all" because most women I know like guys who smell good. If someone said those things to you either she likes the smell of sweat or she doesn't want you to feel too good about yourself.

I know I don't say that. Sorry that every girl you've met has said that, but that doesn't mean ALL girls; maybe just all girls you've talked to.

Maybe its because they know they cant get a classy guy like you, so they cover by saying hes gay etc better than feeling rejected.

It depends on the setting. If you're in a different country, people react in a different way. Like here in the Philippines... Almost 98% of my friends are actually conscious on the way they look...

i take good care of my self and never heared a women complain dude they like it this way and its got nothing to do with being a gay Hello do i have to smell like shti to make ppl belive i'm not!!!
