In ways that I never thought possible - if you could have known me before You would have hated me. I was the worse person on this earth. I had so much hate inside me that even mean people would say wow your evil. No doubt Satan himself would have hated me. I went out of my way to show just how much I hated everything and every body. i thought religion was a big joke I thought people who followed were a bunch of freaks. when I fell into a position of openess because I was dared i let down my guard and that did me in. once I dropped the hate just for a second it happened. You hear of people who all of a sudden see the light well that is an understatement. I felt like a bolt of lightening pounded me to the ground. Once a man would laugh at the suffering the weak the hopeless humbled himself at the foot of God.

They say before you die - your life flashes before you cash in your chips. well it was something like that. but far worse I felt like I was being judged as every single sin every evil deed every shameful act shot through my mind and the shame I felt was almost unbearable. my heart felt as heavy as it could so much so I could not stand straight. I felt the touch of God I felt warm and different I felt almost empty like I was an empty egg shell. all I could mustard to speak was how sorry I was and like a wind I felt lifted and like little sparks of energy being pumped into my body a understanding a sens of pride a compassion I had never felt filled me to the brim.
At that moment I didnt need more I didnt need to have to have answers I didnt need God himself to confront me to know there is a God and although he is a loving God he is a strong and most powerful force there is. Some mock and some deny. if they only knew -----so yes I think it is important to offer religion. I think that I can deal with people hating me and not believing me. They are human and know no better. I know God and to me he is not just real, he is everything. For those who do not want to believe well thats fine. I feel for you and sorrow in my heart for you because all these things you have allowed yourself to believe about God is more wrong then you will ever know while alive. for those who believe but slip from time to time you need to take things up a notch because God is not going to sit idle for much longer. and he isnt asking much at all and it is all free so tossing coins in a plate isnt the answer here folks God doesnt need or want your money he seeks one thing and only one thing. just like he said in the beginning he is a jealous God he wants his praise after all He is The God.

I have prayed that years ago, and many times, but nothing happened. I did not feel any different in any way. He did not "tough me" at all and I really wanted something to change inside like so many on-fire christians would testify about and act like they were totally high on their god-kick. But, that never happened for me, not even a big emotional surge of anything but rejection. So, I have found peace and happiness as an atheist. Thank you for asking, I'm sure you only wanted to hear from the people who something did happen for. But, I felt it necessary to share my story and hopefully show the bible beaters that I am a good example of how (if god is real) he chooses who he wants, and if he doesn't want you, you are out of gas. I asked, and did not recieve salvation a long time ago. I do not believe that God is real for this reason and all of the other reasons that my atheist friends write here everyday. But, don't feel sorry for me I am happy because I feel I know the truth.

When a person says the sinner prayer, sincerely, from their heart, the next step is to be baptized.
What do I do when I know I'm born again?

· Get baptised!

The last thing Jesus said to His disciples was:

Mark 16:15-16 "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved."

Matt 28:16-20 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying: "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."

We notice that the disciples of Jesus fulfilled the mission

Acts 2:38,41 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

It is the same all through the book of Acts.

Read: Acts 8:12-13, 26-38, 22:16, 9:16-33, and 10:47-48

In these scriptures the order is: first preaching of the word and from that comes faith, and then people get baptised. Practical: The baptism is done so that the one who is getting baptised is brought totally under the water. The baptism is a baptism to the death of Christ and to His resurrection.

Rom 6:3-5 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.

When you have been baptised you have buried the old men. This is the end, once and for all to your old life and the beginning of your new life.

Gal 2:19-20 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

In the baptism death, buried, and resurrection is symbolized, but it's not only symbolic.
The Holy Spirit is present to make the life of Jesus Christ a reality in me. Because of this, baptism is a public confession that I count myself to be dead from sin and alive for God in Christ Jesus. Jesus is now my Lord. To be baptised is a matter of obedience. Jesus himself was baptised and He is our example that He wants us to follow. Baptism is one of the first evidence that Jesus really is my Lord and that I want to follow Him.
God bless you in Christ Jesus.

I'm untouched (or unmolested) by your prayer.
I haven't yet broken all the commandments so I don't qualify for your prayer.
iiiiiiii or IIIIII ?????
If God inspired you to write this why didn't he inspire you in school when it mattered? Punctuation and capitalization are not that difficult to master.

If you say it, doesn't mean you believe it. You have to believe with all your heart, it's not just words coming out of your mouth, it's a belief/faith. You can't force someone into heaven, but you shouldn't have to try to force anyone either.

Lord, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.
In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you, whom I should love above all things.
I truly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our Savior, Jesus Christ, suffered and died for us. In His name, my God, have mercy.
