Do you think that what Israel is doing to Lebanon is right?

Nope, Israel is occupier on the lands of Palestine and Lebanon. They have returned back the lands of Egypt and Syria. As such there was no state called Israel not even 50 years before. However, once Europeans dumped those Jews left after Holocast have declared a state which West readily agreed as they wanted to get rid of them off their states. Since then till today, they have been killing men women children old young and keeping on going ahead with the incursions.

Israel has once destroyed Lebanon and Lebanon has gone thru a complete reconstruction recently. However, here they are again striking a democratic country blowing off their airports and cutting off their bridges. Israel's bombing has killed scores by now in Lebanon alone during these recent days...

Absolutely. Terrorist blackmailing and attacking Israel for years despite trying to work out a peaceful solution has finally taken its toll.

What most people seldom know or hear about is when Israel backs off, the terrorists (under Hamas and Hezbollah ) still fire rockets into Israel trying to provoke a response - that usually looks bad on Israel.

Why? These terrorist launch attacks then hide among innocent civilians hoping these innocent souls will get killed - doing this in an effort to attain global sympathy and turn against what "looks like" an vicious attack against civilians.

Israel never targets civilians - but everyday on websites, message boards and many times here on Yahoo Answers! they will tell ignorant westerners that Israelis are killing Palestinians by the thousands every day - and that is an outright lie.

Civilians get caught in the crossfire - but the Militants place these people in harms way for religious/political gain.

I might add that Hezbollah, is protected by Lebanon and Syria.

What Israel is doing is unfair and inhuman. Most, if not all other countries but the US, have already said that the reaction is disproportionate. Israel has attacked numerous heavily populated civilian areas as well as very expensive infrastructure that Lebanon slowly rebuilt. Israel knows full well that Hezbollah does not represent the lebanese people, that most Lebanese blame Hezbollah for going and kidnapping the soldiers (not civilians by the way). If Israel and the US want to stop Hezbollah from their activities against Israel, let them take it up with Syria and Iran, at the source. Why this savage destruction and killing if it will not stop Hezbollah? Israel now has the moderate Lebanese siding with Hezbollah... But do they care? They always like to flex their muscles. And they are taking pleasure in destroying a country more attractive, more fun, more inviting, to the rest of the world than theirs.

Israel is putting on a show for all terrorists on how to properly terrorize a whole country with no global interference and with U.S. approval.

Self defense?? innocent civilians have been killed, children, women, buildings have been destroyed, bridges and highways destroyed, terrorizing millions of Lebanese who scramble to find a place where they would be safe from Israeli terror.

America and Israel should never speak of protecting innocent life when the have no regard for others life. It's terrorism only when it's against their people.

The situation is getting worse by the minute but watch any retaliation by Lebanon or Hezbollah will be called "terrorism" and condemned by the whole world and any when the death toll sours it will be overlooked or won't even be broadcast by western outlets.

Anyone who is for justice and values human life would demand negotiation stake place..that's not the case with Israel they want to bully, terrorize, humiliate masses in the name of defending itself.

Yes. The Hizbullah is a terrorist group located in south Lebanon. They openly say that they want Israel erased from the map, and they are affiliated with Iran. They kidnapped two Israeli soldiers on Wednsday and killed three others, all the while sending missils to Israeli cities, killing and hurting innocent people, women and children. What the Israeli army is doing is destroying the Hizbullah's strongholds so that her citizens could live in peace.

I don't know. I know I can't blame them. I would probably do the same in there place. If they agree to the demands of the terrorists then how many more people will be kidnaped to free prisoners? If they just sit back and do nothing then what will stop any other group from kidnaping Isralies? If they know there will be no punishment. Lebanon can't really do anything to stop the terrorosit organization running it's southern part of the country. So are they responsible for what it's citizens, and part of it's goverment do?

No because what it's doing is attacking Syria but is too scared to actually attack Syria so it attacks Syrian occupied Lebanon. Israel shouldn't be a country anyway didn't it get given to the jews by the Americans from the Palestinians because the bible said it should? Thats just crap. Say no to jesus.

Yes, they need to finish this once and for all. Either this will lead to a real intent for peace or all out war. Sadly I think it will lead to all out war. Facts are plain most Muslims do not want Israel there, unless something changes this circle of violence will continue and probably get worse.

no i do not, the lebanese did nothing wrong and hezbollah gives them a bad name, they need to stop before they kill innocent people and get everyone trapped there cuz they cant get out of the airport or highways this is ridiculous they spent years re-building lebanon and now its being destroyed again...i want to go there someday since my husband is from there and i cannt believe this is happening :(
