Has any of the bible been proven, or does everyone just belive out of fear?

We have found dinosaur bones dating way back but no mention of them in the bible. Why is the christian religion the right one with so many different ones out there, and why are the" lost/unknown" books of the bible locked up in the vatican gaurded? Do those missing pages depict the truth and their afraid it would incite panick among the faithful?

The bible was a story written by a man, just like the hundreds of other best selling authors.

Barnes and Noble is not that creditable to say those are the lost books of the bible. If it were so then many big name christians would paint it all over the national news. Propaganda?

Nope the bible is just a story book that some people take too seriously. Say no to jesus.

Dinosaurs were mentioned twice in the Bible, The Behemoth (Job 40:10) & the Leviathan (Job 41:1). TRUE Christians believe out of choice not fear.

The books which were not included in the Bible have been tested and were found contradictive to the other books.

When we consider that if we learned something new every second it would take over 3 million years to exhaust the capacity of our brains, it is understandable why we would question what is right. Much of what is written in the bible has been scientifically proven, many scientist who have set out to prove the Bible wrong soon found themselves Christians.

But again I say belief is a choice. It always has been and always will be, there are those who try to remove that chose, they are NOT TRUE Christians. As in everything in this world, ALL truth will be revealed in due course. Yet the Bible says that even at the very last there will still be those who chose not to believe what they see, hear, feel, smell and taste.

I've already read The Lost Books of The Apocrypha hon, it's not locked in the Vatican, you can buy it at Barnes & Noble.

Some historical parts have been proven, cities uncovered, etc., as well as some of the figures of the Old Testament. We all know that Jesus was a real person, pretty much every religion recognizes that fact as well, and the book of Josephus also mentions Him.

The Bible is not a historical book, it's about man's search for God. What does a dinosaur have to do with that? Do you understand that if God wrote a book about every single thing that exists in this world and others, no one would be able to read it? it'd be way too heavy lol.

There is a lot that has been proven. Archaelogoy has confirmed the existence of cities, many environmental conditions mentioned (like "springs of the oceans") have been found, and the historical accuracy of many of the key people has been supported by outside documentation.

Leviathan and Behemoth are certainly "dinosaurs" and they weren't as "way back" as most scientists would have you believe.

I was talking to someone just yesterday that mentioned these lost pages. i would like more information on the source if you can that would be kind. I have not heard of them that is why I like to know more.
But perhaps because we are mere human maybe we can't grasp a total understanding of certain things or maybe these missing pages explain the dinosaurs. I believe that the Bible was written at different times by different people in history and were formed together in a dated fashion. maybe the missing pages were written in a language not able to be translated. who really knows but I would like to know that if this is true than why are they being held. I don't think it is fair to assume the worse but I do agree we need to search for answers.

yes there r things in the bible that have been proven ,there r actual footage of things they have found the proves it is real , go to your local bible store and buy it to see for yourself, one is called the exodus ,very interesting there r many others as well , and yes the vatican does have missing books of the bible locked away , and they r afraid to create a panic, not because the bible's not true , but because there r prophecy in there that is so terrifying of what is to come ,and u want to know y christians believe they r the ones, that is not what the lord said ,he said "his chosen ones"i believe there will be many different religions in heaven , it's in how u believe, good luck in seeking god, god bless u

I once believed that the bible was a gimmick . The white used it as a bait to get African to become slaves. Frankly speaking am a Nigerian and I've found myself wallowing in your shoes and getting messed up about this whole bible issue until i met the 'bride' of the end time message.the 'Ladocian Church Age' is that age we live in today, where the love of GOD has waxed cold in everyone.every preacher is claiming to have the true interpretation of the word of GOD.Now because you do not have the right interpretation of the bible you will definately doubt what is contained in the holy book.Modern discoveries are in no way connected to the bible, they are for earthly consumption to keep people like you whose name are writing in the Lambs Book Of Life to wallow in doubt till the coming of the Lord like in the days of Noah and Sodom.As i write you, i so much feel for you, in the interim, i will commence praying for you because it was when i started asking of the true existence of GOD, i met Him.

well, I dont really agree with the things written in bible. As it says the earth was created within seven days, but scientists beleive that it took thousands of years for the creation of earth. but some facts are also approved by the scientists, as it has been mentioned that sun revolves around earth.This is partially true because as you see it from the inertial frame it would only appear that bible was not wrong.

Yes it has. Over and over again.
Too many people just disregard truth and listen to what they think is right.
If you read and study the Bible it becomes clear.
All through school you studied math, english from texts.
Same pattern.

Prove to me that dinosaur bones are that old.

We are "told" they are that old. No calender or written proof.
Everything the scientists do is in their "best guess".
