Many Christians believe that external acts of worship can assume salvation better than one's moral transformation. It's to these human-made additions to God's Law that Jesus refers when He says "Any plant my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled out by the roots."
The purpose of religion is to lead humanity toward God. This final aim can only be reached through profound transformation of the soul. Any religion that doesn't make human beings better than they are at present fails in its pupose. We can also positively say that any religious belief that supports human beings in their wrong-doin is either flawed at the core or has had its priciples miscontrued. This is exactly what has happended to religions where the form has become more important than the substance. Belief in the value of ritual acts is meaningless if it doesn't stop violence, cheating, stealing, lying, slander and the abuse of others in all its forms.

Such religions never create Godly men and women, only people who are superstitious, hypocritical, and fanatical.
The apprearance of purity isn't enough; above everything else, you must have a pure heart.

As a Pagan who admires the historical Jesus I must say that you have beautifully articulated an agenda I've been pushing here on Answers a lot lately! That is, Jesus good; organized xtianity herded by inherently flawed laws of human leadership bad.
Jesus + 12 disciples + altrusitic humanitarianism = 13 caring, tolerant individuals with the kind of free thinking we need in 2006 let alone biblical times (equality, liberty, peace, etc.) = Pagan coven? Coincidence? We may never know but remember that Jesus spent most of his time with the weak, sick, and misunderstood, not the power elite despite his supposed place as 'King of Jews!'
To quote Denis Leary, 'they shoot JFK, they shoot RFK, but when it comes to Teddy they say leave him alone he'll **** it up himself!' The point is they always destroy the most progressive people to protect the status quo. That's why we call them martyrs!

the answer you gave is a sturdy answer, and that i wager it should not be hostile to the rules. Now, the position i have self belief otherwise (for continuously no longer being allowed non non secular rights, at the same time as Christian scholars can do in spite of they choose) it would not look a nasty answer. It shows what she became asking. It became likely via bias, yet I see bias everywhere, and that i don't have self belief there is something contained in the words of provider it fairly is hostile to bias. It became likely a tiny rule that absolutely everyone ignores, and no one receives in difficulty, yet you've been stuck, and had issues for it. You were likely an "social gathering" to others now to not spoil the rule of thumb. It occurs to me each and each of the time.

Firstly, that is not a question it's a statement. Secondly, you seemed to have already answered your 'question'. Finally, who cares - why don't you just go listen to Yoda from Star Wars if you want one-liner moal guidelines that break gramatical rules.
P.S This is Yahoo Answers not some pulpit for you to espouse your views.

Dude. It's just so appealing. It's the shortcut to heaven. From what I have read there are 3 paths to enlightenment. Salvation religions are the lowest.
