There is no such thing as a liberal Christian. A liberal who claims to be a follower of Christ is a liar and brings shame and discredit upon Christianity as a whole. If you claim to be a follower of Christ, then you must accept ALL of God's law, as recorded in the Holy Bible, as the ultimate authority. Many people who claim to be Christians "editorialize" The Bible. You have given a perfect example of this. There is no question among theologists that abortion is murder, yet these so-called Christians support the individual right to choose. While it is true that God gives us a choice in everything, He makes it clear that when we make choices that are contrary with His law, we have committed a sin and our sins separate us from Him. The Apostle Paul gives a discourse on people like this in the first chapter of his letter to the Romans. "Claiming to be wise, they became fools..."

While I am a Christian and would never have an abortion myself or even recommend it as an option for someone else, I am also an American and recognize that this country was built on the ability to choose freely what you want to do. I believe other people should be able to practice there own religions, stand up and say whatever they please even if it is completely against God's word. God gave us free will and far be it from me to try to take that away from someone. I would also rather woman be able to go somewhere that is sterile to get this procedure done than to go to some back alley and get some horrible disease via a metal hanger. Plus there are plenty of weak/helpless/innocent woman who go get abortions that also need our protection and love.

They support in "because" they want votes to stay in office.
It is in no way right or even a choice.
The politicians want their job so they process agendas based on voter percentage, not moral authority.
Life does not start at a certain point in conception.
Life is a continuation.
Example....
Is a dried seed dead? No. Place it in the proper environment and it sprouts and grows if you do not destroy it.
Life continues between a man and a woman. Life is not started at a certain point, but continued from a form that was meant to develop continuously.
Abortion is not a right.
If the people we admire today were "terminated" in pregnancy how would we have known how great they were to become?
Really sad on how much we could be missing in the future.

They are not real christians then, they are people who take some things of christianity for their convenience and feel they are good people who are on their way to Heaven. It is people with a double moral.

Please leave Him alone, I don't want to get tarred with the same 'suck-up' brush as you.
