my son is visiting and i need to know if i take him for his school shots if they are good when he goes home ?

Yes. When i was growing up in California, I came here to Chicago to visist my grandmother every summer and if we needed shots for school, she took us.
Just make sure you get paperwork from the doctor who gives him his shots to prove that he got them so he won't have to get them again.

They should be. Call up his school and ask them exactly what they require, then make sure he's up to date with his doctor! Also, if his normal doctor is in the other state, have them send the doctor he's going to see a copy of his records. Just to be safe!

Yes, immunizations are good from state to state, just be sure you have the certificates, otherwise your child will have to take them over.

Call the school district to find out what they require and compare them to what immunizations your son has had.
