then why is it that God want you to do this and that but yet he states in the bible he does not have to prove anything? why is it easier to live in sin than in good ? you would think if god realy wanted you to be in heaven he would set it up to where it was easier to live a life in goon and not sin. and how do we know the bible is true? after all it does state that there will be false whitness that many many people will follow so how do we know the bible is not one of them?

You are right God does want a life of holiness and righteous from us. And you are also right that it is easier to sin and follow the world. But God wants from us a good honest heartfelt effort to worship Him and follow His commands. The best part is that God did give us a easy way to get to heaven. No one on earth could every live up to the standards of God so He sent us His only Son to come live the life according to God's standards perfectly to become the living sacrifice for all of our shortcoming (sins) in fulfilling the law (ten commandment). And by dieing for us we are able to be redeemed and go to heaven if we only believe and put our trust in Jesus. As far as the rest of your question about the Bible. Not all Bible based churches preach the real Christ. All things said are to be tested against the Bible. The Bible is true but not everything someone says about the bible is true. So everything I said you should confirm with scripture. Besides everything about Christianity is about Faith May God Bless You

good questions!!! first of all the way i see it who are we to test God's judgement? and of course living in sin is easier, God is showing us that the easy way out isn't always the easy way out, he is being a true Father to us. and we know the Bible is true because it was written 2000 years ago and is still true today. like with the Arc. the Bible says it would land on Mt. Ararat, in i believe it was 1993 geologists found a giant boat on top of Mt. Ararat with lodging for animals and people both. it was made of the same wood that the Bible described, and all of the same details. the way i see it the whole God thing could be fake, and we will find out when we die i guess, but why not follow God now in case it is real, and not end up at the gates and find out that it is real after not living that way. if it isnt real then you lived that way for nothing, but better safe then sorry.

God tests your faith with trials. It is easier to live in sin than to live righteously when you are new in Christ. As you grow in Christ (attend church regularly, read Bible daily, pray), it will be easier and easier to defeat temptation. Pray for strength if there is a particular problem in your life you need help with.

Are you saved? It doesn't sound like it. Pray this prayer:

Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner. Forgive me for my sin. Today, I turn away from it. Jesus, I accept your sacrifice on the cross as payment for my sin. Come into my life as my Lord and Saviour. I want to follow you now. In Jesus' name, amen.

If you prayed that prayer sincerely (if you meant it), you will know whether or not the Bible is true.

Read the Book of John (the one after Luke) in the Bible. Find a Bible-believing church and attend regularly.

God Bless!

Yes, you are right. God does want us to live a righteous life.

He wanted it so badly that He made it possible by arranging for Jesus to come to die to break the bonds of sin and death. We wouldn't even be able to try to live right without the help and discernment of the Holy Spirit.

Is the Bible true? God said said his Word will never pass away. There is no way He would allow a mass of flaws and mistakes and mistranslations to represent His Holy Word.

If He loved us enough to offer salvation to us, I don't believe He would jeopardize His own plan with a false Bible.

You are searching and asking wonderful questions. Keep it up.

By us not having to prove anything, he ,means we don't have to go out of our way to get into his good graces. Like just getting all your friends and family to believe in God will not get you into heaven. He does want you to share the word of God, but it is not your job to actualy save anybody. If you tell them, and they don't listen it won't be held against you. But just by doing that, and only that won't get you into heaven either.

As for it being easy to get into heaven. God gave us free will. And alot of times it is easier to live an unholy life. Like stealing money, and taking things from other ppl is alot easier generally then going to work everyday, and working to support your family. But it is not right. And it really isn't "hard" to live by what Jesus tells us to do. Don't lie, don't cheat, don't steal, don't kill, etc. The good thing is God knows we are flawed,. and therefore does forgive us when we make mistakes. As long as we repent, and promise not to do that sin again. If you think about it, God could have made it alot harder. He could have said once you sin, your out. Then where would we be?

sorry to be a nuisance but i dont actually believe in god as such. I do however have a great belief in the human spirit and that there is something greater than us. I know this doesnt answer the question and i dont want to offend anyone. It is just an opinion as no one can clear away the mist that surrounds religion.

suffering occurs, no matter if you're Jewish or Christian. i have struggled my entire existence with disabilities and combating by potential of actual therapy. starting to be Christian received't make suffering bypass away, and replacing because you pick some thing isn't the right reason. It doesn't be a actual conversion because you've stated your self you do not believe it to be authentic. i understand this in all probability isn't an answer you had to hearken to, and that i'm sorry i don't have a better physically powerful one for you. I desire I did, yet in case you ever pick someone to pay interest, you could e mail me by potential of solutions.
