Why not try a nice prawn Caesar salad? For the Caesar salad just chop some lettuce into a bowl and just prior to serving mix with Caesar dressing, fresh warm garlic croutons and top with shaved Parmesan. Use fresh Tiger prawns from your fishmonger and saute them in seasoned butter placing them on top of the salad just prior to serving.

Mmm... prawns... yummy!!
Try this... make a sauce of butter, lemon juice, parsley and garlic. (I can't give you exact measurements, cause I usually just feel it out) It should take about a stick or two of butter, and then add the rest to your liking. Saute the prawns up in the lemon/garlic/butter sauce until cooked through and serve over linguine or rice. Sauteed summer squash and zucchini with a little onion and salt and pepper is a great light side to go with it!
For the salad... I like to get heart of romaine, mix in toasted pine nuts (toast them in a hot pan for about a minute or two then lightly salt) red bell pepper, Gorgonzola cheese, walnuts and raspberry vinaigrette! (Ken's is AWESOME!)
It's a great light meal that I'm sure you'll both enjoy! And it's EASY to make!! :-)
Bon Appetit

Other than the obvious - ie prawns with a good salad - google for GAMBAS - fantastic. Prawns in garlic - you need a good quality bread or garlic bread afterwards to soak up the olive oil. Don't forget the chillies.

You could try quickly frying the prawns (King prawns) and then cover them in a sweet chilli sauce available in most if not all supermarkets.
Very nice, also works well with tuna steaks and noodles

A good old fashioned prawn cocktail.
Blend say 2tbls mayo, 1tbls tomato puree, good glug of Worcester sauce, 7 drops of Tabasco, a good dash of lemon juice, salt, pepper and an optional, but worthwhile dash of sherry or brandy. If its too peppery for you add more mayo, but remember its more pungent before you had the prawns etc.
Iceberg lettuce & juicey prawns.
Then a nice fillet of beef. With holandaise! And crunchy veg.
