I like the Smitey, shouty god. But the original is always better than the sequel. Will they write another book? Where Jesus comes back and admits it was all a dream and he was in the shower all the time?

Probably Smitey didn't go so well with test audiences, so there was a bit of a PR job for the sequel. I'm hoping in the next one he'll fight Godzilla on the moon, personally. That'd really get the incentive to read the propoganda going.

The O/T God was Almighty God, Jehovah. [ Exodus 3;13-15 & 6;3. He is the same God in the N/T. He is Jesus' Father in heaven. Jesus Christ is NOT God, but God's son. Almighty God, Jehovah, created Jesus as his very first creation, before even the universe, so Jesus has been around in heaven a long time before Jehovah sent him to earth. Proverbs 8;22-31. When Jesus was baptised, it was his Father who spoke from heaven . Matthew 17;5 While he was yet speaking, look! a bright cloud overshadowed them, and, look! a voice out of the cloud, saying: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved; listen to him.”
No one has seen Jehovah. John 1;18"18 No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is in the bosom [position] with the Father is the one that has explained him. Here, Jesus is described as a lesser god, small G. a spiritual being.But thousands saw Jesus on the earth,, and it is Jesus who explained his Father. Any claims to the contrary is false teaching. The gentle Jesus of the N/T is not Jehovah God. But eventually, Jesus will be the one 'riding out' on the white horse to cleanse the earth of wickedness.[ Revelation 19;11] Every one who survives this will continue to live on the earth as described in Psalm 37; 9-12, 29 & 34.

I type of like the solid God, likely because He became a guy of action! God is complicated and it truly is often not basic to appreciate Him. The bible says that His procedures are not from now on our procedures and many of the time he's not a eating fireplace in spite of the indisputable fact that even as he's pushed......!!!!!! i guess it is one way he's like us human beings, he has thoughts and thoughts too.

They did. Part III was the Qur'an, and he's back to his good old smiting and wrath... You should read it sometime. It's filled with 'righteous anger'.
