The same way we survived the last 100 years. And the 100 before that. And all the hundreds before that. We just do. Things now are not as bad as you think and things in the past were not as good as you think. Compared to the political chaos of world war 2, or the 30 years war, the political situation is quite stable now. Compared to the black death that killed off half the people in Europe in the middle ages, we are quite safe now. The worst predictions of global warming are nothing compared to the problems people have overcome in the past. Really. REALLY!

umm the same way they have all ready survived the last sociopolitical environmental chaos. They will adapt and then make even more laws. Yeah big business, yeah survival insiticts.
