People who hate are usually scared. As Christians, we need to be an example that is not scary-loving nonjudgemental- like Christ.

There seems to be an influx of people who do believe in god on this forum that are bent on hate and/or negativity. Especially those that are here complaining about non christians / atheists.Do you go to atheist association meetings and complain that they are preaching at you there also ?- while there are some that offer well thought out questions or statements, there seem to be too many hateful statements here.
It can work both ways my friend. Take off the blinkers.

There's really extremes in both areas. Some more than others. I've been on the extreme myself, but more out of curiosity of others' reactions as opposed to my own belief system. The hate is mostly from those who just don't understand how people can believe in certain ways. It's either too confusing or many people feel that religious people are just plain dumb. There is a variety...and a variety from the other side. It's like taking extreme lefts and rights in politics. They can be practically violent towards one another. Most of the time, people don't have enough security in their own belief or too much security and not enough flexiblity to understand that everyone believes what they want to believe and nobody really has any say or control over it. Poor, poor people. Don't they know that God made evolution for a reason. Heh heh.

Leaving religion out altogether, there is still much, too much hatred. Races against each other, people killing one another with the drop of a hat, Neighbors against each other etc. Its horrible. The best I can come up with is home training. Parents today do not teach love to their children. They make poor examples when they are faced with crisis that do not favor them and in a lot of instances there is little respect within the individual homes.
Competition also seem to breed hatred behavior. Every one want to be the best, to have it all...and will lie, cheat and/or steal to accomplish this.
It is really too bad. This land in which we live is really a land of plenty...there is more than enough for us all.

We don't hate....we just are getting utterly tired of people that preach about god when NO one really wants to hear about it. Maybe there should be a special section for 'extreme christians..worshippers...whatever you want to call it'.. This way you can tell each other how great god is and that you have been 'saved'..from I dunno what?????.......I just don't like that some christians think their religion is 'correct' and is 'fact' (when no one really can prove that..it's just all about faith and whatever stories you want to believe).....and it seems that some christians are less tolerant towards non-believers than atheists are about christians We don't try to convert you, we just want you to shut the h*** up!

I don't hate Christians (or any other believers) per se, but the ideas and beliefs they espouse are ridiculous and sometimes quite contemptible, so it's hard to hit the right balance in condemning the ideas while treating the believers with due respect. I'm willing to admit I don't always get it right. Will try to do better.

what else do they have to do? i am amazed at how many atheists, agnostics, non believers have the obsessive need to try and prove our Father does not exist... but to be fair, i see an awful lot of so called christians on this site that love that ol fire and brimstone mentality and like to tell ppl how they have an inside line to God and actually will sit here and tell ppl they are going to hell... why the anymosity ?? thats probably why-- a lot of well meaning, misinformed ppl...spreading a gospel Jesus never preached

What hate? I love everybody! Why do people hate is a good question. When you find out, let me know, ok?
And how does not being a believer make you a hater? I don't get it.
