in this question, it would have better if you had named the animal which asked you to mate. and what to do entirely depends on you, whether u want to mate or look for a human being for making love

Only animals 'mate'...humans make love,
so now comes the question
How did the animal ask you to mate? Is it a talking horse or dog or something...if so you could be rich..!!
