Keep it that way love, once you've done it there's no turning back. Stay a virgin for as long as you want, it's a great quality. Sex is only good when your body and mind are completely ready for it.
Be proud.....

No, a lot of people lie to try to make other people feel that they are inadequate. They also lie to make themselves look 'good'.
If someone says they are or are not a virgin, how do you know whether they are telling the truth? Even if you conducted a medical exam, it's likely to be inconclusive. They might have used large tampons, a vibrator, had a smear test or gone horse-riding. All activities which break the hymen without engaging in intercoruse with a man. Or alternatively, they might be a lesbian so they have had 'sex' but not penetrative intercourse as they ask in 'Chasing Amy' does that cause you to lose your virginity?
Many women are sensible enough to wait until they fall in love before they have sex for the first time. Many women under 17 are not mature enough to have full relationships and have only just begun to think about having a relationship.
So despite what people may say, they are probably lying. Don't worry about it.

well it is much more common now to have sex at an earlier age. children are exposed to soo much more sex and adult themes nowadays that they cannot help but be curious most of the time.
both cities and small towns experience this. small towns because there may be a lack of ways to pass the time while your horomones are flying. and cities cause it may be the cool thing to do.
the few who wait tend to have strong family backgrounds are strict religeous laws. but this could easily be untrue for the fact that teens rebel almost like clockwork around this age.
i knew a girl that was 21 before she had sex and one who had sex by the age of 12 both small towns and good families...circumstance led to the different outcomes.
but you arent alone... china has a lot of girls that dont do anything until they are out of college.

I think the same. Atleast i did till recently, till i realised there's more to life than sex. I'm 18 and my friends 15, it's weird because she's the one giving me advice about men and sex. You obviously haven't found the right person yet, it'll happen when it happens. Just get on with your life, don't let it revolve around men/sex. Ask yourself, are you that desperate to sleep with someone? ;-)

17 year old virgins still exist...I should know, I am one. I'll never understand why some people think that's bad, maybe they're jealous because they lost it at a very young age with someone who didn't give a crap..

No, your not alone. Most people claim they have sex early but it doesn't make it true.
Wait until it is right for you, do not be pressured as you'll never have a First Time again.
