Hi!
Assalamu aleikum السلام عليكم-- (most common greeting used literally meaning-"peace be upon you")
Marhaba we hala مرحبا و هلا--( Hi and welcome)
keef halek- كيف حالك؟( how are you?)
sadeeq -صديق- ( friend-male)
sadeeqah- صديقة (friend-female)
Shokran شكرا-(Thank you)
yallah- يلا (let's go )
salam سلام -( peace)
Over all,I admit Arabic is a challenging language to learn being wide spread with various accents and dialects, but when mastered is fascinating and can produce very deep expressions and sentiments.Arabs are very welcoming so don't hesitate to ask anyone if you're interested to learn more words.Just say "Salamu aleikum" to any arabian person and I'm sure you'll see a smile from the heart.
Good Luck!! - حظ سعبد(hath saeed) :)
