She can bleach it, but if she goes tanning, well, the way the bleach works is it will also bleach the skin slightly. Her best bet is to just wax it. She can do it herself or go to a salon and get it done for $10. She may want to go to a beauty supply store and get some numbing spray to use (spray it onto a cotton ball then dab on area to be waxed about 5 minutes prior to waxing). The numbing spray really works, and waxing lasts about 2-5 weeks depending on growth rate.

Just bleach it! A simple kit can be bought at any grocery/pharmacy type store over the counter. If she waxes, she will have to maintain and wax it the rest of her life and it will possibly grow back darker and coarser. So many women have light hair above their lip. Tell her not to worry. There are bigger things in life to worry about than this.

If she feels uncomfortable about it (like i did mine actually) make sure she knows it is not a big deal & that they are easy to get rid of. Waxing it off is a quick & almost painless way of getting rid of it (may cause redness for a few hours) Make sure she knows it may sting for a minute, but then everything about it will have no sign of ever being there Wax it twice a year & you should never see it again!

Use a depilitory cream for sensitive facial skin, like Nair...have her test it in one pea size spot first to see if she might be allergic.
It's not painful like waxing and you can still see it when it's bleached. So def try a cream depilitory. Go to any Walmart, Rite Aid, etc they will have several choices.

happens to all at mid-teens.. threading is safest as it does not affect the skin in anyway. but be sure to use a disinfectant or astringent to close the open pores. waxing doesnt really suit all n before a bleach don forget to do a patch test.
