Having received a BBA myself, I would choose Engineering as the best bet. It opens many doors for you and will allow you to get a better job to start with.

If u take engineering, u can be sure that u will get a job with a BE (unless u do really bad in ur college). If u do BBA ,u have to do MBA which is much better than engineering. So if you are ready to do masters take BBA and u can prepare for MBA otherwise engineering is ok.

Having one undergraduate degree (engineering) and one postgraduate (MBA) is definitely better than two undergraduate degrees (engg and bba). The MBA will immediately groom you for a position at managerial level. Generally, a combination of engineering and MBA are excellent because most engineers find themselves in management positions within 10 years of graduating from engineering.
