A "bio" yogurt is a yogurt which has not received any heat treatment after the addition of starter cultures. The yogurt bacteria would therefore be present in the final product. (The opposite of a live yogurt would be a long life yogurt, labelled "Long Life" or "UHT").

bio yogurt is prepared from bacteria cultured in dish or lab with a tweak or milk derived from bio-genetic breeds of mammals on the other had the live yogurt as you call it is the normal yogurt which you can even prepare by adding a spoonful of a normal yogurt into milk and leave overnit to consume

I think it is just the same. The word bio means life.

It is called like that because yogurt contains live microorganisms that is very good for your digestion.
